For the 13th year, travellers voiced their opinion about Kenya’s hospitality industry in the Travellers’ Choice Awards. TripAdvisor, one of the most popular travel websites globally, runs the Travellers’ Choice Awards. This annual fete evaluates the quality of service and the traveller’s experience through reviews and opinions submitted by millions of travellers in a year.
Kenya’s top hotels, according to the reviews by guests, are
1. Medina Palms
Located in the beach safari town of Watamu, this beach resort has luxurious rooms and suites and it is designed like Medina City in Morocco. It has apartments and plush penthouses too.

This hotel has 148 spacious rooms, a variety of restaurants and fitness centres. Owned and operated by the Red Cross, the proceeds go towards the humanitarian organisation’s projects.
