Arusha

Our ground representative will be waiting for you at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha. You will be driven to Arusha Coffee Lodge to spend the night. Enjoy the bed and breakfast arrangement in this lavish lodge that sits on an expansive coffee plantation. Tour the coffee plantation to find out how farmers turn this crop into a beverage.

The lodge has maintained the colonial style of architecture in some of its structures, but the interior exudes a modern touch. Mount Meru is visible from this resort.

Tarangire National Park

Have a hearty breakfast at Arusha Coffee Lodge and leave for Tarangire National Park. Check in at Oliver’s Camp, nestled in a serene part of the park. It is a tented lodge with spacious tents offering a sweeping panorama of the bush. Create your own adventure by choosing what you want to do, where and when. With an expansive landscape to explore and a team of courteous staff, only your imagination can stop you from having a great time.

Have lunch, and go for an afternoon game drive. Tarangire has wildlife and picturesque landscape with baobab trees dotting the plains. A walk through the bush is another must-attempt activity for you to see animals at close range. A guide will accompany you for this experience. Get back to the camp in the evening. Spend the next day exploring the national park. A full day game drive will take you to elephants, antelopes, hippos, foxes, jackals, zebras, giraffes, lions, wildebeests and waterbucks. Get back to the camp for all meals and rest.

Ngorongoro Crater

Have breakfast at Oliver’s Camp and depart for Lake Manyara. This attraction is part of the Great Rift Valley’s mysteries. It sits within a national park with the same name. The scenery is a mix of a forest on one side, cliffs jutting out of the surface and the turquoise coloured lake.

In addition to the spectacular view of the lake, your excursion takes you to the habitat of tree-climbing lions, giraffes, monkeys, baboons, buffalos and warthogs. The lions lie all day in the woodland while other species scour the clearings. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in this wonderful attraction.

Later, check in at The Manor in Ngorongoro. This luxury resort is within a coffee farm, south of the crater. It has 20 luxury cottages and a main house laid out to offer splendid view of Ngorongoro Crater. The structures resemble a colonial farm but when you walk inside, you are blown away by the level of detail in the choice of furnishings. Everything is chic and suitable for a luxury holiday.

Start the following day with breakfast at the Manor. Proceed to Ngorongoro Crater. Descend to the floor of this natural wonder to marvel at flora and fauna that has remained unchanged for millions of years. Volcanic activity collapsed the top of the crater leaving a hole, hundreds of meters deep, with a soda lake at the centre.

Wildlife such as rhinos, elephants, lions, leopards, wildebeests, zebras and buffalos lives within this world wonder. The grassland is evergreen and there is plentiful of water so animals rarely migrate out of the caldera.

Have a picnic within this attraction, and drive out of it in the evening. Get back to the Manor for dinner and rest.
