Fly to Kilimanjaro Airport in Tanzania for a week long wildlife safari adventure in East Africa. Kilimanjaro Airport is in Arusha, a city whose vibrant growth has made it a popular stopover for tourists visiting Tanzania. This city lies between the beautiful backdrop of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. Our ground representative will be at the airport to get you on the road transfer ride to Arusha Coffee Lodge.

After breakfast at Arusha Coffee Lodge, drive to Arusha Airport for a flight to Lake Manyara Airport. This flight takes about 25 minutes. By 8:25am, you will be on a cruise to Lake Manyara National park for a game drive.
Watch elephants, hippos, buffalos, giraffes, baboons, wildebeests and the tree climbing lions. This region also boasts of about 350 bird species. When you get to the alkaline waters of Lake Manyara, you will see dozens of flamingos around it. Enjoy picnic lunch while watching activity in the lake.
In the late hours of the afternoon, travel to Gibb’s Farm, check in and have some tea as you watch the lake from a distance. Gibb’s Farm is a lavish guesthouse close to Lake Manyara and a short distance from Ngorongoro Crater. It sits on a former coffee farm in a region made up of large farms. Enjoy fresh air with beautiful flowers in the garden and lush green lawns where you can spend a day just loving the landscape. Sit in the dining room for sumptuous meals prepared from organically grown products from the farm.
Wake up to a cup of freshly brewed Arabica coffee harvested from the farm. With the stunning view of Ngorongoro from your private balcony, you will have every reason to get ready fast for the trip to the crater. Descend to the floor of this amazing caldera that formed over two million years ago. Watch countless species that live within this crater in the savannah, swamps and forests. Climb up in the afternoon and go back to Gibb’s Farm to relax and enjoy activities housed in this inn. You can have a spa massage offered using an intricate but relaxing technique of the Maasai people. Take a walk with a naturalist to guide you through the gardens and into the forest. Pass through elephant caves as you go to the waterfalls at the foot of the farms. After a great time in the forest, sit back for a buffet dinner at Gibb’s Farm.
Serengeti National Park
Drive to Lake Manyara Airstrip after breakfast, for a 45 minutes’ flight to Kogatende in Serengeti National Park. Our guide will transfer you to Serengeti Bush Tops and you can watch wildlife in the plains during the road trip. Serengeti Bush Tops is not your ordinary accommodation spot in the bush. It is an intimate luxury resort in the northern section of the park where the grassland grows wildly, dotted by thickets and trees. This region hosts millions of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles during the annual migration.

There is a hot tub on the balcony where you can spend your mornings while enjoying a sweeping view of the plains without having to leave your veranda. Explore Serengeti National Park for the next two days through morning and afternoon game drives. This remote section of the park gives you private safaris without worrying about bumping into crowds of tourists. Leave for Kogatende Airstrip in the morning for an over one hour flight to Tarime Airstrip at 9:45am. Board the shared transfer van through Isebania so you can clear with the customs office and drive on to Migori Airstrip in Kenya for a flight to Maasai Mara. You will land in this national reserve around midday, where our guide will be waiting to transfer you to Mara Bushtops.
Mara Bushtops Camp grows out of the plains blending in with the natural landscape of trees, savannah and rolling hills. In this opulent lodge gives jaw dropping view of the reserve from spacious tents raised from the ground so you can see as far as possible. The tents and other buildings in the resort incorporate a wealth of African furnishings and décor pieces on the walls and the furniture. Check in, have lunch, and head to the plains for an afternoon game drive.
Start the following day with a game drive, then lunch, relax in the lodge and go for another game drive. There is so much adventure in the plains of Maasai Mara. It is home to the eighth wonder of the world– the great wildebeest annual migration. Millions of wildebeests, thousands of zebras and gazelles make the coordinated dash through the plains of Serengeti into Maasai Mara. In addition to this wonderful migration, this reserve is home to over 500 species of birds, large prides of lions, hundreds of elephants and other species.
Wake up to a finger licking breakfast at Mara Bush Tops. Go for an early game drive and go back to the lodge to pack and get ready for the trip to Nairobi. Fly from Maasai Mara airstrip to Wilson Airport in Nairobi. Our guide will transfer you to Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens for lunch at Tamambo Restaurant, with the rolling Ngong Hills giving you breathtaking scenery. Take an educative tour of the Karen Blixen House, the Museum and the Giraffe Center in the afternoon so you can experience the beauty and treasures of this unique capital city.
Leave Karen shortly after headed for the other side of the city in the suburbs of Gigiri about 30 minutes away from the city center. Check in at The Tribe, for a night of lavish dining and exquisite accommodation close to the UN Complex and ambassadorial residences. The Tribe has elegant rooms and suites decorated intricately with dark toned walls to match the unique choice of furniture.
