Kenya’s Premier Bush and Beach Tour
This wildlife and beach safari experience is out of the ordinary. It will start with an excursion of Nairobi’s most popular attractions such as the history rich Karen Blixen Museum and the culture, art and human history exhibits at Nairobi’s National Museum.
After a luxurious stay in the capital city, you will hop into another thrilling adventure in Amboseli National Park. Meet elephants, marvel at the scenic peak of Mount Kilimanjaro and jump into the neighbouring attraction- the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Explore the savannah plains of Maasai Mara that attract millions of wildebeests annually during the great migration. Listen to the over 500 species of birds and dine in the most beautiful setting overlooking the lush grassland.
Fly away from the heat of the plains to breathe the fresh breeze of the Indian Ocean. Mombasa is jam packed with adventures for individual travellers, families and couples. Get two days of exciting water sports, fine dining, sightseeing expeditions and lengthy walks on the beach.
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). Our ground representative will pick you up and drive you to the posh Nairobi Serena Hotel. This five star hotel is about a five minutes’ walk from the skyscrapers of Nairobi, standing on lush tropical gardens with manicured lawns and a variety of flowers. It overlooks Central Park thereby offering guests tranquility against the bustle of Africa’s fastest growing city.

Later, relax in your room or explore the city. There are numerous must see places such as Karen Blixen Museum. This museum is housed in the residence of the famous baroness Karen Blixen. Situated within the upscale suburb of Karen, enveloped by the scenic Ngong Hills, you will learn a lot about her life in pre-independent Kenya.
Get back to the city for another round of adventure, this time in Nairobi National Museum. Located a few minutes out of town, in Museum Hill, Nairobi National Museum has exhibitions in contemporary art, culture, history and nature sections. You may also visit the Railway Museum, the National Archives, Parliament House and the Nairobi Arboretum.
Amboseli National Park
Have breakfast early and leave Nairobi Serena Hotel for a road trip to the wildlife rich plains of Amboseli National Park. Drive through the grassland viewing herds of elephants especially around the swamps oozing water melting from the splendid Mount Kilimanjaro. Stop over for a picnic in the lush grassland. Later, drive to Amboseli Serena Lodge.
A row of red painted modernized manyattas (huts of the Maasai) face the endless plains of Amboseli. The room’s interior displays stunning hand painted murals against a colorful mix of bright drapery and mats.
Wild animals frequent the swamps in the front yard of Amboseli Serena Lodge. However, a game drive can take you to more animals in the plains and thickets. Species to see include elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, cape buffalos and impalas among others.
Enjoy a game drive early in the morning. Get back to Amboseli Serena Lodge for breakfast. Drive from the park to Nairobi, have lunch, and head to Wilson Airport for a flight to Maasai Mara.
Our guide will transfer you from the airstrip in Maasai Mara to the lavish but intimate Little Governors Camp. A drive through the plains will take you to Mara River, which you will cross by boat to reach the camp.
The view is magnificent. A swamp outside Little Governors Camp brings wildlife to this section of the plains. The tents have a set of safari chairs, a bed, African themed beddings over white linen sheets, a private deck looking out to the plains and an en-suite bathroom tucked in the corner.
The first excursion of Maasai Mara starts in the late hours of the afternoon. See elephants, leopards, lions, wildebeests, rhinos, cheetahs, zebras etc. Get back to camp for dinner and a relaxing time by the campfire overlooking the rolling hills.
In addition to game viewing expeditions, Little Governors Camp has day trips to Lake Victoria and hot air balloon safaris.
Spend the last day in Maasai Mara on an extensive safari over the plains, search for elusive species in the thickets and watch birds perched on the trees beside Mara River. Enjoy picnic lunch in the savannah and go on with the expedition until dusk.
An early morning game drive will culminate your holiday at Little Governors Camp. Fly back to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. Take a 40 minutes’ flight to Moi International Airport in Mombasa.
Our guide will transfer you to Voyager Beach Resort, which is along Nyali Road about 20km from the airport. This posh lodge has garden and seafront cabins. An ocean theme resonates in the choice of interior color. There are different shades of blue on the walls, on the bed, the seat covers, on the pillow covers and on the drapery. It brings out a tranquil atmosphere. The gardens are beautiful with palm trees and lush lawns. The swimming pool affords you a great view of the ocean next door. There is a lot to do here from taking walks on the long sandy coastline to playing water sports.
