Check in, get accustomed to your new serene surroundings and start your holiday in the afternoon. The beach, of course, should be your first stop. View, explore or walk along the beach enjoying the quiet atmosphere.
Get back to the lodge when you have had enough of the sun for one day. Relax over a sundowner drink or take part in board games with your family or friends.
This resort has a variety of restaurants. The Minestrone Restaurant serves the most delicious Italian cuisine in the region while the Smugglers Cove has mouth-watering seafood served ala carte style.
Enjoy Exciting Water sports activities
Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast meal. The allure of the ocean will call out to you to spend a few minutes gazing at the breathtaking scenery. Spend a while viewing this landscape, whether you will be staying in the garden view or ocean view cabins. Prepare for the day’s activities and head out ready for an adventurous holiday.
Enjoy a full day of water sports such as windsurfing, canoeing, deep-sea fishing and scuba diving among others. Beginners can get lessons from the dive and water sports centres before taking on the pristine waters of the ocean. Peaceful day to explore the wildlife and expedition
Take it slow by spending a day in Haller Park to learn about wildlife and nature. The Mamba Crocodile Farm is another must visit attraction. Later, explore Gedi Ruins, the Old Town and Fort Jesus. Meet locals during your sightseeing expedition and if time allows, go shopping. So many artefacts, beadwork and traditional fabrics are on sale in Mombasa and along the beach.
Visit to the 18-hole golf course
Take part in other sports away from the ocean. You can visit the 18-hole golf course at Nyali Golf & Country Club, play tennis or sand volleyball within Voyager Beach Resort. This lodge hosts regular family shows centred on a number of themes. Other sports to participate in with your family are darts, video games, swimming and table tennis.
Explore the coral reefs or go fishing
Head back to the ocean to enjoy water sports you may have missed earlier. Try a dhow safari, explore the coral reefs or go fishing. Bask on the beach when the sun is bearable and get back to Voyager Beach for a laid-back afternoon by the swimming pool. Culminate this exciting holiday with a sundowner as you watch the sunset.
Breakfast and prepare for flight to Nairobi
Have breakfast and explore the ocean for the last time. A few hours later, board the road transfer vehicle back to the airport for a flight to Nairobi or out of the country.
