Kogelo, a small rural village in Kisumu, the hometown of Barack Obama Sr, father of the current United States of America’s president.  This safari seeks to give you an idea of the background of one of the world’s most famous presidents’ roots with some tours of Kenya’s most renowned National Parks.

  Itinerary
Day 1 - Nairobi

You can spend the day at leisure with the option of taking a cultural tour of Nairobi’s National Museum, The Karen Blixen Museum, The Railway Museum, The National Archives, The Nairobi Arboretum and Parliament House.

Day 2 - Nairobi to Lake Nakuru
Tucked away in the spectacular vastness of The Great Rift Valley on the private 6400 acre Congreve Conservancy, Mbweha Camp is nestled up against the southern border of Lake Nakuru National Park with beautiful views of the Eburu and Mau Ranges.Ten charming cottages built of lava stone with thatched makuti roofs blend effortlessly into the surroundings. Each cottage features richly textured African materials, rustic en-suite bathrooms and are set back into vegetation.
