Gear up for more festivity as you digest a lifetime of African creativity in a Kenyan staging of the International Hay Festival by Storymoja. Then get a reel view of Kenyan cinema at the Kenya International film festival where locally made and produced films are screened alongside international productions. Finally go behind the curtain of performance arts at the International Puppetry Festival.

November

Lovers of African arts, crafts and artifacts must make a point of seeing the works on display at the Sarit centers’ craft of Africa fair. Experience firsthand why it’s said ‘Mombasa raha’ from the annual cultural carnival parades. Get a double dose of coastal customs at the Lamu cultural festival.
